What is Emotinal Core Perception?
Emotional Core Perception (ECP) is a psychodynamic method that reintegrates sensitivity in the interaction of body,
mind, and the surrounding world.
Early events in a person's life affect the thinking, feeling, and acting in relation to oneself and to others. Thus,
trauma will unconsciously influence how a person will face and deal with their life.
The therapeutic work in ECP starts in the ocular segment and activates the synchronization in the interaction between
the two cerebral hemispheres. In this way, patients become aware of the frustration, fears, and rage experienced earlier
in childhood. This awareness trying to express itself, increases tensions in the body. The tension, also called
armoring, is a protection against an expected attack and, simultaneously, a hindrance to express feelings. The armoring is removed with body-oriented methods.
ECP is effective in the treatment of psychic and psychosomatic health problems.
